Smile Karen's new book?

Hello,
Is Karen's new book The Low-Carb Gormet? I ordered unseen it from the library and picked it up yesterday. I recognized some of the recipe names and am really excited that she leads this site. I am ordering a copy today.
I am new and not sure if this should be a new thread but I wondered about using Davinci syrups as part of the liquid (amount to taste) instead of dry splenda in some of the recipes. I have never seen liquid splenda. I am using Davinci's new unflavored Simple Syrup but have not figured out the ratio to substitute for Splenda powder and so far have only used it to replace all or part of the water in other recipes. This does not always give good results.

I don't lead this site, but I am one of the three founders - DoreenT and Tamarian are the other two. Plus, there are a whole crew of volunteer moderators that help the site run as smoothly as it does.

I can't help you out with the DaVinci question because I don't use the syrups. I'm sure someone else will be able to give you a hand.
