Default Tastes like Chocolate ice cream.....

I was really craving something sweet....but I had nothing in the fridge, when I decided to do some creative kitchen round up and I think I found something delicious!
2 oz cream cheese (creamed)
1-2 tsp of cocoa powder
2 pkgs of splenda
1 tablespoon of cream
splash of vanilla
I mixed it up real good then stuck it in the freezer for an hour and it was the richest, yummiest "ice cream" I've had in ages.
Maybe its already been done, but don't burst my bubble yet, I thought it was fairly inventive of me. Give it a try, tell me what you think.

I thought I was being original when I mixed up the same thing minus the cream. It was a good approximation of chocolate cheescake. A small amount is very satisfying.

I will say that your recipe looks even more appealing.

I just finnished eating my first one, delishous!

Now I'm making up a bunch of the basic recipe then I'll be deviding it into small containers with different flavoring. Got some dryed cherries and some Cherry flavored DaVinchi's I'll be trying in the one for the DH's valentine dessert tonight. Hopefully he'll like it almost as much as his Cherry Garcia.

Hi all, have to report back that the ones I made with DaVinci's didn't work out. They were in the frezer for apx. 6 hour and were frozen solid. When defrosted a bit the texture changed.

What do you guys think, was it the DaVinci's or just in the freezer for too long?

This sounds delicious, maybe just enough time in the freezer to partially freeze it. I can't wait to try it. Thanks....

This was really good and fast to make. I'm not sure I like chocolate and cream cheese tho. Next time I'll leave out the cocoa. I softened the cream cheese in the microwave for 15 seconds which made it really easy to mix up. This is good portion control for me because I tend to eat all of anything sweet I make in one sitting. Thanks for the recipe!
