I've been wondering the same thing. When I first ordered it through Amazon the expected delivery date was the 17th of this month. Well that date has come and gone.
Anybody else out there know anything?
Jean
Hi all,
I ordered it from Amazon also. I emailed them when the date came and went.
They basically replied that it was a target date for release of the book. Apparently it isn't finished on time, so that delayed the release. I wish they
would change the date for those of us who are waiting. Doesn't really help,
but that is what I know.....
I e-mailed Dr. S's website and they said that they do not have a date of expected release and are furiously editing at the moment. Sounds like no time too soon to me.
I don't see it on Amazon's site! Did they remove the pre-ordering for it?
Oh, I just looked at her site and it looks like an amalgamation of her first 2 books. I was under the impression that she was writing a book on perimenopause/menopause.
I just looked yesterday and it seems like it is being released today. So the
expected shipping is the beginning of September. Someone else check
and see if that's correct, please.....my preorder from earlier this summer was
gone, so I reordered it also. I hope this time it is really coming out!
I got an e-mail from Dr. S's website saying the book was going to be released in January. If you pre-ordered from her website, tho, advanced copies will be sent in Nov or Dec. I'm betting on Dec. I'll let you all know when I receive mine.
I guess we will all be waiting a little longer then, but I have a feeling that my card has already paid for it. I'm looking forward to it. SPII had a lot of information and explanation not in #I. She also qualified some of her recommendations in #II to take into consideration the varying health situations of her readers. I'm hoping that this new book will have even more of that. Up to this point she hasn't had very many specifics for the hugely obese - which would include me.
