I have struggled with this for a year now. It is very difficult to eat at someone elses home. The temptation is very difficult. What I do is always bring something I can eat for everyone. Such as deviled eggs, tuna salad, spegetti squash or bakes apples. I find out what they are having and try to make sure to bring something that will round out the meal.

You have to also think about what will satisfy you and help you not feel deprived. I have had a few people get upset with me because I bring things but that is just too bad. I have to take care of me and they always enjoy whatever I have brought. My dh always says I should just bring my own plate of food. I have not done that because I felt it was weird. I take that back I did do it once and no one said anything.

Good luck and know that by doing this you will feel better tomorrow.

Marianne
