Default hello :)

Hi there,

I am new here

I have been active most of my life. Do not have a weight problem but would like to be very healthy and consequently very lean.

I exercise a great deal. Love kettlebells in particular but am also a fan of the TRX and body weight workouts.

For a long time I followed Tosca Reno's Eat Clean plan but I want to move on to something different. I am also allergic to quite a few things (read here dairy, preservatives, pork meat) and don't eat things like red meat. I love fish and chicken!

I am looking for something that rebuilds my immune system. it took a bit of a beat down. I want to eat as clean as possible and the Paleo way of eating has caught my attention.

I have just started the diet. (well two weeks ago almost) and have been feeling quite tired, weakish and am wondering whether this is part of the process or If I am doing something wrong.

Hope to learn a great deal here!

Cheers!

In the absence of large amounts of carbohydrate, you may need more fat to supply your body with needed energy.

I can't tell without looking at your usual menu, but you might take a look at your fat sources. On Paleo, that would include animal fats (like chicken skin and eggs) and (I think) coconut oil.

Best wishes.
