Just wanted to echo the bit about exercise. I'm fond of saying the weight doesn't move unless I do!
I've found it doesn't matter how well I'm eating, if I don't move, I don't lose. Some can lose just by diet but for a lot of us, exercise is essential.
Walking has been my main form of exercise but lately I've added Tai Chi twice a week and Somatics which is really more about healing than exercise but it is movement as well. My plan is to do yoga on days the weather is too miserable for walking (it rains sideways here!). And I am trying to incorporate strength training with dumbbells twice a week.
I got to my goal weight before and ended up weak from loss of muscle tissue. I don't want to go that route again.
Schwarzbein seems to be the only eating plan I can realistically stick with for life but I don't lose on it unless I move.
