Monday -
-Step class (40 min) No HC foods to weigh me down!!
-ended with Abs (these hurt soooo bad! I swear I have zero ab muscles... definitely something to work on....)
(really pushed myself. face was very red!)

Tuesday-
- 40 min of toning (not to thrilled about todays class.... seemed to "easy")
included abs (of course these hurt like hell!)


Wednesday -
- 35 min toning
abs/glutes

Thursday -
-40 min slow step
abs
floor leg stretches

Friday -
- 40 min toning

Starting the week at 187! Will I ever get used to seeing a number below 200??

Monday -
-Step class (40 min) I struggled with this class!! sweated something fierce and my face was beet red!! I even had to stop several times! I did use a riser on each side.
-ended with Abs (Im getting better at holding my legs up in the air... maybe im building muscles!!)


Tuesday-
- 40 min toning (everything!!)
I drank about a half cup broth before workout. I felt good...not sure if just a coincidence... I'll try it again tomorrow.

Wednesday -
-40 min step
-abs (top abs are sore from yesterday....)
-floor stretches

Thursday -
NONE at lunch - today is our company Holiday luncheon. So i'll basically be walking across campus to participate in that. My Abs hurt so I'm looking forward to the day off! Oh, and did I mention my Abs hurt....ugh!! lol

Friday -
-30 min slow step
-abs
-stretches

Hi Deb!

Exercise is going good. Im on my 5th week of step aerobics. I've been mixing it up every 6 weeks. But think Im going to stick with the step for awhile. It still kicks my butt so it should be fine! lol Im thinking about incorporating kettlebells into the mix at home. I hear they can make a big difference if done right. we will see.... Hows the bowflex working out for you?

-ended with abs (I'm getting better with holding my legs up while doing crunches) Still hurts like hell!


Tuesday-
- 30 min toning
- about 10 min abs


Wednesday -
- No exercise today. Had office white elephant gift exchange during my gym time.

Thursday -
-35 min slow step (tones big muscle groups....can you say muscle fatigue!)
- 10 min abs

Friday -
-zero (worked half say due to sons Christmas party & baby girls blood draw appt)

I think I like the Bowflex....Im at the beginners level so Im not really challenged yet...Im still at 20 min. The walking challenges me...so on that Im doing well! I missed my 420 min last week by a mere 42 min. I was sick Sat and part of Sunday...that set me back.

What are kettlebballs?

Yeah.... Im still working out. I took a hit with the Holidays because of off days but didn't falter with my food!!

Even this week I missed a day due to New Years! Ugh!! Im ready for a full week of working out again!! I've decided to add a little upper body weights after the aerobics classes Im taking. We just don't ever do a lot of upper body exercises. I think Im oddly preportioned up top... shoulders kinda look broad... hhhmmm never noticed that before... dam.

I'll start back to a more detailed post of my fitness next week!!

Too Cold to walk to gym....

Wednesday-
40 min Step
ended with abs

Thursday-
40 min slow step (works large muscle groups)

Friday-
40 min toning

I want to do some kind of upperbody toning 3x a week. We don't seeme to do a lot of upperbody and I have zero upperbody strength. Really want to work on that. Plus my arms /shoulders/back/chest area REALLY needs toning....

You are back on track!!!!!! Im like you ..most of my workout is lower body...I started with the Bowflex...its slow going...but I think its working

40 min Step class
abs

I sweated my tail off today. Used 1 set of risers to increase intensity. I'd say it worked... lol
Abs burned like fire. Had to rest during a set because I thought the pain was excrusiating!! lol no joke!
Id say I really pushed myself today. I ended with floor stretches. I need to improve my flexibility.

1 day down..... 4 to go

Default Tues-Fri last week

Im behind posting this but wanted to post so I will have it for the future:

Tues:
40 min toning

Wed:
40 step (I used risers again but had to take a breather numerous times! Very unusual for me... instructor even asked if I was ok. Heartrate was way up too!)
ended with abs (this is a given...)

Thurs:
stayed home. Felt very tired. Napped until 1!! nauseous everytime I got hungry...

Friday:
No exercise. Still feel very weak and tired. Figured I needed a rest. Still feeling nauseous

40 min Step (feeling much better!! had great energy and never slowed!)
ended with abs - I made a real effort to not stop and to concentrate on the muscle.

feeling great about this workout!!
