day 28 complete

feeling great. I had an interesting thought about food allergies. doing 36. Would provide relief..

KMOM We have done it and I loved it. Im not a breakfast eater so will have my usual lunch consisting of two eggs a little chicken a big hand full of spinach, a long stick of celery, and lots of EVOO & natural apple cider vinegar dressing. Have a great day and lets do same day next week.

Days 18 of 90

Goal of this challenge: Simply to tally how well I do sticking to my diet plan over the next 90 days.

Good days: 13
So-so eating: 3
Off the mark: 2
~~~~~~~~~~
Late snacks: 5

Thursday was good. No snacks. I'm going to bed with a mild sense of 'I could eat something right now', but it is nothing overpowering nor does it affect my ability to sleep. I used to relish this feeling when I was losing. I saw it as a sign that I was on track with my goals. I welcome that I am having that feeling again.

Since resuming the tradition of eating lunch, I am less famished on the commute home and I find myself eating much less for dinner.

Yes as a rule I eat lunch and dinner, But I must be incredibly insulin resistant because I have really stuck to less than 20 carbs and fat at about 75% not a lot of food other wise and not dropped much at all so, currently I am happy to be hungry in an effort to see some results on the scale.

I am out of town, thus the late entry.

goal: 15 min of creative writing, research or extracting writing from journal notes 5 days a week for my project/s.

Thu - the entire HR dept except me and another temp is out on retreat this week...I finished my work including the extra work they gave me early - and I knew it would be extremely slow so I brought my book that I am taking apart to see details on their outline. I was able to work on that for 4 hours! yesterday. It was lovely. I took notes on everything, number of pages, pages in a chapter, what action, who did what, etc.

Fri - only got in 15 min of research. Both for project 1. Packing and traveling today.

Doing great preparing for a weekend in a bush camp and notice the reduced anxiety around what the food will be. Because not eating is an option. I used to tell myself ...u cant eat your way thin. Thats when there was a crazy voice in my head asking What can I eat and loose weight..this web sight is the game changer.

1. No computer use between the hours of 9AM and 5PM except for my Buddhist teachings and tracking food on Cronometer.

2. No computer use in the morning until after I meditate.

3. No computer use after 10PM

4. At least 1 hour of study per day (added on day 5)

Friday was a so-so eating day. Good OP food, good carb counts, but too much food and a late snack. We had company for dinner so the tracking in MY PLAN is just a best estimate of what I ate. Ironically, the "late snack" was due to the fact that one of my guests has had WLS, so the LC desert had to come a few hours later to give dinner time to settle. I'm glad that I don't have to eat that way -- small serving spread over time.

Interesting...this was the day after my 36-hour fast. Once I started eating in the morning, I had both head hunger and physical hunger most of the day. Kept it LC, but had to work hard on it.

Your observation is interesting. I have seen similar reaction with a friend after VLC . My thought is increasing carbs after a period of lower carbs is a difficult time. That rebound would send me into orbit! Your reaction has convinced me to stay steady with a carb level. Or come up slowly. Atkins ???? talks about 5 carb increments.
