Such great news to wake up to this morning. After having done so much for my own quality of life these past 18 months, I couldn't be happier for Professor Noakes right now.

What a relief. Especially so for Professor Noakes.

The wonderful Dr Malcolm Kendrick comments on PRof Noakes trial, plus John Yudkin, Dr Fettke and other research supported by the food industry.

Great article by Malcolm Kendrick. He nailed it:

He quoted John Yudkin:

“Can you wonder that one sometimes becomes quite despondent about whether it is worthwhile trying to do scientific research in matters of health?” he wrote. “The results may be of great importance in helping people to avoid disease, but you then find they are being misled by propaganda designed to support commercial interests in a way you thought only existed in bad B films.”

It is all horrifying.

Kendrick always seems to be on point. I'm concerned about the pervasive trend here where misinformation under the guise of "mainstream science" stifles civilized debate and distorts truth. There are other scientific fields today where this is happening beyond nutrition, and when discourse or opposing views and free speech are discouraged, the outcome cannot be good. If we only knew what we don't know . . . .
