Default Must I have carb with EVERY protein meal...

....or can I have a protein by itself snack? I know I must have protein with every carb, but is the reverse true? (On SP)
Thanks,
Gina

Yes, never eat a carb alone, never eat a fat alone, never eat protein alone and add some non starchy vegetables. The minimum requirement for a snack is carb and protein (plus healthy fat).

Welcome, Gina!

Yes, TSP (The Schwarzbein Program) is truly a balanced program, and as part of that, every meal - and even every snack - should be balanced for protein, fat and carbohydrate.

Blessings,
