Checking in from Eureka. After having lived all over Calif, we left the rat race and settled on 6 acres of redwoods. Sure do miss the shopping in the Bay Area, Modesto and Fresno. I will be driving to Modesto for a wedding in a few weeks, bet it is a little bigger now then it was when I left in 1987!

Well, I'm in Central CA..near Modesto.
I was excited to find this thread..except..it looks like it's kind of dead here!
I hope things change, because I starting Jan. 1st and Lord knows I will be needing support and a kick in the butt from time to time!
