Default 3rd Post, 1st introduction

I decided to go straight to the journal today and completely ignore introducing myself. Then I decided I would come introduce myself after all.

I am a fat guy who has decided to not be fat anymore. I don't expect it to be difficult at all because all I am doing is eating healthy and exercising. How hard is that? I eat every single day and right now everything I do feels like exercise. So by eating healthier lower carb foods I will provide myself with stable energy, less cravings and a smaller appetite. By exercising I will reduce aches and pains, reduce stress and feel better physically. All I am seeing here is upside! Since I have an unshakable positive expectation of good, and in no way will allow myself to be beaten down if I stumble along the way, it's only a matter of time until I will be positing in the success gallery. See you there! But don't wait for me, it might take me a year or two.

You're right. There's no downside in this for you. If I could carry around 413 lbs all day (that's you minus me) I'd be a famously strong woman!

Best wishes as you shed that extra weight. You can do it!!

Love the positive outlook!

I can tell you for sure, if you keep getting back in the saddle when you stumble (and we all do), you will get to the point where THIS is "how you eat"...it will come naturally after a while. If you feel discouraged, come here and let it out. This is a great board for support!

Welcome!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. While I may be new here I am an utter wealth of knowledge and experience. And not just about low carb eating and exercise, no no. I can account for you in great detail how to deceive oneself about their size, how justify cheat meals and snacks, how to procrastinating starting a programs for days (even weeks!) and very recently how to order a salad. But it is possible that I will need to seek our some wisdom from all of you.
