Default Anyone here use the Tae Bo Tapes?

I just bought TAe Bo cardio at Wal-Mart on sale for $6. I do not want to open it if it sucks b/c then I cannot return it. So does anyone here use it and how is it for a workout?

I have several of the tapes and I love them! They will definitely make you sweat. They are among the best (along with all "The Firm" tapes) out there IMO.

You'd better be fit to start with - I have the Tae Bo Gold (i.e. for the over 40s) and coudn't keep up with it even a year ago (thinner and fitter then).

I have 4 of them..Instructional, Basic, Advanced, then the next one. When I can get the oomph up to get into the routine, they're great. It also helps when there's a person or two that I imagine in front of my fist or foot..I get a WONDERFUL workout those days LOL

I have them and I loved it when I did it regularly. I am going to start back to do it this weekend. My daughters are in Karate and they do the Taebo tape on the weekends to "kick it up a notch." It will make you strong and it does work. Good luck!!

I have some Billy Blanks Tae Bo but they are too hard for me at the moment.

I tend to do a normal dance exercise vid and then add in some tae-bo at the end so that I can work up to doing a full tae-bo workout.

One thing I do notice though is that they really help your abs - you tend to hold your stomach in while doing the punching moves!

I think they're definately worth breaking open

I've never seen the Tae bo "Cardio", but I did the basics and advanced tape and they're awesome and definitley work. $6 is cheap and it should be worthi t. I bought mine on "sale" for $30 and $50 when they first came out. lol

They are rough! But give a great workout...It's hard to do a full tape, but you eventually work up to it.. Good luck! Let us know how it worked out..
