I am about your same age and height, but 52 pounds heavier than you. I am inspired by your post and your success. Thank you for sharing. I especially liked the last three paragraphs, they really resonated with me.

Wow that's inspiring and honest. It is so tough to stick to it. For me, the motivation is my son and girlfriend (who tells me I am getting hotter all the time!)

your story made me sit here and have and cry,sounds so much like my life struggling with the bottle,i am 2 weeks into atkins and yes for the first time not starving on a diet.i too feel like i've come home,somehow i always knew i couldnt do breads /carbs made me go crazy, i would loose control.....i only lost 5 lbs ,but ive been yo yoing for years and i know from these message boards that i will find success. thank you for sharing your story
