Talking feel like a pig... oink oink

Hi people!
This is my 2nd day on Atkins....doing pretty good....but my goodness.....I have eaten so much food today I feel guilty!
But they say eat till u are satisfied! And I did! lol
It just feels so...hhmm..wronge..lol..to eat so much, ya know..I hope this works..will find out how the first week went on Sunday when I weigh myself. Today I ate the most..and I feel like maybe I did eat too much...I don't know why, I just felt extra hungry today.
Breakfast- 2 eggs with chees, bacon and sausage
snacks-baked shredded cheese(tastes like cheezits!)
Lunch-whole Rotiserie chicken from Boston market
Dinner-3 burgers with cheese
snack-4 sugar free jello cups
tons of water all day
and I still feel hungry!!! God, I feel like a pig today!
Is this the norm...where u feel this hungry..is it the lack of carbs making me hungry? Did I eat too much? I read the more u eat the more u lose!! lol thanks for any info any one can give me....

welcome! your food is not out of line, calorie wise, for your body weight, so stay calm about the amounts for now. Also, I think most of us find that our appetite decreases in the first week--soon you'll be fighting to keep your calories up at 3000!

best of luck to you, and keep posting.

Hi Melissa!

You're off to a great start! Soon you'll be fighting to eat as much as you should be, like I am. Just make sure you drink plenty of water, about a gallon a day or more! Have you started a journal yet?

Default How to start a journal

Hi Melissa!

To start a journal, just go to the main forum screen, scroll down to " My Journal/Bootcamp" and click on "journals L to M". then, click on "new thread". Call the subject "melissa's journal" or something similar, and then post to it and tell us what you're doing, post your menu's, exercises, accomplishments...its a great place for everyone to visit you and watch your progress. Then to make additional entries, you just post a reply, rather than a new thread, and people can reply to your journal also.

Hope this helps!

I'm loving the results I'm having...but there is one thing I am getting concerned about. I've never had a bad acne problem...the usual breakout every once in a while...but usually clear..but since I've been on this diet, I've been breaking out like crazy....more every morning...is it all the foods I've been eating? will my body get used to this? anyone else having this problem?
Thanks

Default Acne problems

Hey Melissa! I haven't had this problem, but here's a thread you can check out, it's from the "general health issues" section of the site:

http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...referrerid=3247

Apparently others have had the same problem, so you should find more information there!

Good Luck!

ms.
