Default Loose Skin?

Does anyone else have a lot of loose skin?

Does it ever shrink back? I'm 45 years old. Lost about 85 pounds.

Thanks.

Tony

I guess some of it does shrink back, with intense exercising, it all depends on your skin's elasticity. Generally speaking, the younger a person is, the higher the chances of skin returning to shape. But even at 45, I don't think it's impossible. I'm assuming there must be skin care products that help with that, like firming body lotions and such.

Loose or sagging skin typically occurs when you cut down on your weight at a fast rate. Of course, an effective way to avoid this problem is to adopt a weight loss program that will allow you to shed those excess fats gradually. It is also important that you adequately hydrate your skin while you are on a crash diet to maintain the optimal elasticity of your skin.

Find a Mary Kay Consultant, get ask about serum-c. My grandma and mom had drooping skin , and this really helped them. I don't know how much help it'll be, but at least if you don't like it or it doesn't work you can send it back to your consultant for a full refund.

i have the same problem..n im 21.
the issue is you lost more muscle than the subcutaneous fat ..therefore, technically its not loose skin..in fact skin fold thickness below the triceps is a very effective way of measuring subcutaneous fat.
you cn really lose that..by keeping wt your diet n hydration, increase protien intake..n BUILDING LOST MUSCLE.
only that will fill up the space really.i know its hard..n im still fighting that too
good luck!

I'm very fair skinned and when my skin stretched out (my belly, hips, and thighs) I got dozens of small blood blisters. I suspect they won't ever go away (I had one or two since childhood and they're exactly the same size). But may you guys know of something that might help?

Default Loose sagging skin on my face and neck

Hi,
I've lost 57 pounds and the loose skin on my body isn't so bad, but I've got some sagging skin on my neck and my lower face now that wasn't there before I lost weight. It's really getting me down. I sure hope it improves at least some. I've tried to find answers online but a lot of people say they had to have a surgical procedure to correct the saggy face problem.
