Oh congratulations!!! I was going to post that I think instead of worrying about how you'll feel once you lose the weight to instead focus on getting to a healthy weight FOR the baby that you want so that you can do things like play in the floor with them etc...

Now however you can still eat LC to keep your stats in line but do it more for maintenance until after your little bundle of joy arrives! Think about the tools that you have now to do that. I wish I had known about how healthy LC really is when my boys were first born instead of wasting time and pounds on WW....

Again though woohooooo!!! Be sure to keep us posted!

Congratulations! At least you won't have to go through the summer very pregnant. Yay!! I hope you still get the birth you want even though it will be in a hospital setting.

Raven, I'm lucky enough to live in a big city and there is a hospital that has a birthing center wing so that is my plan. Still a birthing center environment in a hospital setting. Not perfect but close enough!

Thanks everyone!

How wonderful! Congratulations! I want to give you a piece of advice when it comes time to deliver your little bundle of joy...wherever you are, hospital or birthing center or right at home with a midwife, just GO WITH THE FLOW. Sometimes women get really uptight about wanted the "perfect" birth and get freaked out if anything doesn't go with their plan, but you know, it's all ok once you have your baby in your arms. Sometimes things happen that we didn't anticipate, or things don't go quite right and we need some intervention, but at the end, it's all OK! I swear, the birth of my son was a total gong show, but it all ended just great with a healthy baby and a healthy mom. My best wishes to you and your impending bundle of joy!
