Default New Yorkers - Help please !

Hi folks,
I'm heading down to NYC on Wednesday and we're looking for someplace to eat dinner. We thought about Gallaghers's Steak House but it's a little more then we want to spend. Maybe $100 - $125 a couple instead of $200. We'll be in the Midtown area around 11th between 51st and 52nd.
Thanks,
Alli

Default steak house nyc

my favorite place to go for steak in manhatten is the palm. theres a two of them on 2nd ave. around 44th or 42nd i forget, or one on the west side right off the west side highway. for two people it'll be around 125- 130 with tip. great steak and seafood, with a couple of sidedishes that work on any low carb lifestlye.
Have fun at dinner

The following was posted on another thread! I have not been to this place, but it has been mentioned a number of times on these forems. Good Luck and have a great time in the City.
"Ola, on 48th bet. 1st and 2nd. The chef, Douglas Rodriguez, has been on Atkins, and there are a number of Atkins-friendly items on the menu - specifically marked as such. Instead of bread, they serve complimentary olives. There are even a couple of low-carb desserts."
