Default Breakfast

Hi, I'm going to give the SB diet a try starting on Monday. I can't seem to get back on Atkins for some reason. My question is, what do you eat for breakfast? I have to eat my breakfast at the office, so I can't be frying eggs or making omelettes. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

There are recipes in the book for quiche cups and frittata thaty you make ahead. The quiche cups are great because you can freeze them in bags of 2 each and take them to work then zap them in the mike. Other ideas: ham roll ups, leftovers from dinner etc. Like with Atkins, you need to think of breakfast a little differently. No bread products at all for first two weeks, but unlike Atkins, after that you can introduce cereal and bread so you can do it!

I'm going to buy the book this week, but just wanted to make sure I could have something other for breakfast. BTW, the 8-13 # loss in the first two weeks, is that true? Atkins is generally 10% of the weight you want to lose in 2 weeks (give or take).

Thanks again.

Yes Agatson says 8-13 lbs is the average weight loss for the 1st 2 weeks.

ya i think the 8-13 loss in 2 weeks is valid cuz in 2 weeks i had already lost 11 pounds that was with exercise also.
