Default South Beach?

I am 6 month post partum and have about 40 lbs to lose. I been tracking my carb counts on SparkPeople and have found that if I keep my carbs under 140 or so I tend to lost but if higher, I gain or don't lose at all.

I was just wondering, has anyone tried South Beach and it worked?

I am also on the 2000 of met a day and synthroid.

Just a little note for those still trying to conceive, we conceived our daughter after 5 years of infertility! It was well worth the wait.

Glad to hear of your little one, what a blessing! South beach is good, you will just have to closely monitor your carbs. I find the focus on fat a little strange with south beach however. Low fat dairy is not even close to being as healthy as full fat dairy or as satiating. I am following my own PCOS plan of under 30 grams of carbs a day. High fat, moderate protein and low carb.
All the best in your journey!!
