Default Help --- Travel info----

I have my travel plans of Minneapolis. One one hand it is a good thing I work with a lot of men.. THey love greasy spoons and sports bars. (personally --- ick) I don't frequent them.. BUT in this instance it will work in my favor.

My major concern it breakfast Saturday morning.. They are serving donuts and coffee to start the day. I am staying at a Fairfield Inn.. I am thinking about calling and asking for map of nearby restaurants that I can go to prior to being picked up to go to the meeting,

Lunch - Sports Bar --- chicken wings --- easy enough
Dinner - Chinese/Seafood --- Shrimp or other --- easy enough
Brunch next day --- eggs, bacon --- EASY!!!!!

I am worried about getting enough food in....

SO---- what can I take that might travel well.. that I can carry with me.. I was thinking boiled eggs, turkey jerky, string cheese (it's cold there).. any other ideas for tasty tidbits? I want to be prepared---

Thanks

Ramona

Ramona, when I travelled last month nuts saved my butt big time. They didnt serve food on the plane, can you believe it? 5 hours no food. I had some almonds and drank a lot of water. I kept things in my room for the 4 days like sunflowerseeds, pork rinds and the nuts. While these may not be part of your meal plan yet, having them for an emergency would be better than being faced with a bagle or donut first thing in the morning.
