Well, so far I lost about 6kg. I started at 104kg, two weeks ago I weight at 98kg. I have not weight myself since, the bath room scale I got died on me

My target weight is about 80kg, heheh. I am 184cm tall large body frame. I am enjoying every moment of it.

Some how I am not tempted by all the carb food around me yet

saymeng, welcome.

it's going to be a bumpy road ahead...But as long as you control 'the steering wheel' well enough. If you don't steer too off track, you can be on your way to an awesome turning pt in life.

there are a hell lot of 'dangerous' foods than the ones you see inside the Atkins book or a carb counter book. That's why Singapore's a food paradise. watch out...~ but don't be too restrictive...will fall off the wagon faster.

pork rinds can be bought at lucky plaza 3rd floor onwards...those Filipino stores. or else consider Golden Mile Complex where there are many thai stores. quite interesting to observe Filipino products...

They cost $2 a pack...some taste just right some tough-chewing...they recommend to go with this special sauce that is hot n sour...

Default Anyone interested in ordering from Bodybuilding.com

Hi fellow SG LCers ,

Been lurking here for sometimes liao, nice to see fellow Singaporeans sharing tips on Atkins diet. Personally I have been on the diet for 1 mth and so far the weight loss has been satisfactory. I just started taking Xenardine (The original formulation, not the local version) and would like to ordering another product from Bodybuilding.com. Just wondering if anyone would like to purchase something from there. Maybe we can share the shipping cost. I ordered a thermogenic from there (on impulse actually) and it arrived in good condition. So I guess its safe to order from there. If u would like to combine purchase, feel free to post here or PM me and we can discuss further

Chromium is a good supplement to control insulin levels. other than 'chromium picolinate', you can take the other forms of chromium found in GNC...it is present in many thermogenics such as Xenadrine.

tsk tsk, i just realised that these days my heart 'got a little tight' due to the sugary mooncakes....and right now i have not replenished my thermogenics....i hate mooncakes.

btw, anyone saw these bunch of diet drinks at bishan j8 ntuc? i bought diet mug rootbeer, diet A&W rootbeer and diet dr pepper.....diet mug tastes better than diet A&W...aiyo i thought the other way round and regretted. i shld have bought more diet mug rootbeer

i got a little confused aft wat the salesgirl at GNC told me , abt Chromium n Glutamine, she said Glutamine is more for body builders, and Chromium metabolizes glucose?

Is xenadrine good then? and permissible during induction?
sorry i hv no idea abt such supplements n stuff =P

oh where did u see the diet root beer n stuff? NTUC?
i only found diet lipton lemon tea , tangs orange, snapple ermm kool aid ..
plus they had "sweet n low" which is sodium saccharine ..
trying to look for diet 7-up but couldnt find it anywhere .. so strange ...

The Xenardine RFA-1 that GNC is selling is not the original formulation, thus effectiveness cannot be compared to the original Xenadrine. You may want to wait for the Xenardine EFX, which is the newer formulation that is without Ephedra. Cytodyne claims the newer formulation is more effective than the ECA stack based formulation (RFA-1).

Xenadrine is a kind of thermogenic. They increase your body metabolism and gives you the maximum workout when you exercise. on the other hand they contain ingredients such as Chromium, green tea extract, white kidney beans etc...those you find in Extrim actually. They help you to stabilize your insulin levels, suppress some appetite (Zantrex 7 has this horrible after taste that naturally stopped me from eating too much).

when you start taking them, take half of the recommended portion because for some people they will experience irregular heartbeat. Xenadrine is the best so far, the worst being Hydroxycut. Zantrex 7 is as good as Xenadrine, but horrible after taste...Britney Spears takes Zantrex as well I read it somewhere.

They cost like $100 plus per bottle...lasts a month. There is an imitation brand called Synedrine. It contains the bad chromium called chromium picolinate. but i found myself wanting to go to the loo after 15 mins of taking this...but Synedrine is also not bad, i could feel the tightening of my skin...

in all, i will still go back to Xenadrine after trying various brands. yeah importantly shld get the version without ephedra or they call it ma huang. some people died of complications with ma huang.
