Before chain restaurants had nutritional info, I LOVED ordering Asian inspired salads, not realizing what sugar bombs they are.
Tonight I am going for a LC version-
Romaine, chopped bell pepper, edamame, rottiserie chicken, mandarin oranges (packed in water), and a dressing of soy sauce/unsweetened rice vinegar/toasted sesame oil and a touch of Splenda.
So altogther it is 17.5 carbs, plus 6g fiber. It's a touch high, but you could make it lower by using a fresh orange or using less of the oranges. I calculated using the whole container (a single serving).
