Cool 4 heavy chested woman only

Ladies,

I need some advise. I am a 44 DD and can not find a sports bra that fits or helps control bounce!! I run - walk about 3 miles 3 times a week. Yet evertime I try to run my boobs are bouncing all over the place!!! The rest of my boddy wants to run!!!

My questions are - Where can I find a GOOD sports bra and are there any special features to look for in one?

Thanks Everyone!!

I got a Champion brand sports bra at The Sports Authority. Read the packaging, there are different levels of support, I got the highest. It has quite a lot of support and holds my boobs in place, no bouncing. I have bought both the underwire and no underwire ones and having put both through rigorous use, the underwire ones fell apart in less than a month. The no underwire ones last. They are around $25 and they do have them in bigger sizes too. Also, it doesn't give you the dreaded "uniboob" like most sports bras.

LOL ~ DarkLotus, I hear you on the uniboob, I felt like a uniboobcyclops the other day wearing my sportsbra.

http://www.thesportsauthority.com/h...crumbs_home_txt but I don't see the bra on their website. This is the bra though http://www.essentialapparel.com/cgi...e=009.html&PID= and they do make your size. Call & ask some local stores if they carry it or just get it online, that was a good price!

I use a sportsbra from Enell (www.enell.com) and it works great. They're specifically made for bigger chests. It works kinda like a girdle, if you can imagine. It probably does give you a uniboob, but that doesn't really bother me, as long as it supports.

I'm a 36DD and it works great.

The Nike Sports bra is excellent, but it's still not enough support. I wear 2-3 jog bras at the same time and I also wear a 80's leotard over that and it also helps.

I have got a 90 DD (or E) (Euopean size) bra.
I also find it hard to find a good bra, they never seem to give enough support. So sometimes I wear 2 bras : a regular one and a sportsbra on top (looks very stupid)
They always say that fat people should exercise more, but why don't they make good sportsbra so we could exercise (without getting a black eye LOL)? Are there other people who find that a sportsbra makes you look fatter (seems to push my breasts aside so they are almost under my armpits LOL)

I'm a 36EE and long since gave up on trying to find a decent supportive bra! For those of you who can sew, here is a fantastic link for directions on making your own bra...

In the UK Marks & Spencers seem pretty good at catering for larger busted women, although they still make the bra from lycra, so don't expect a long shelf life. Bravissimo are another one worth looking at as they cater solely for larger cup sizes.

I love that term "Uniboob" tita....you made me laugh today.... thank you! I'm looking into getting a "uniboob" on that site you listed! I'm tired of holding on to my boobs when we do the low impact at the end of class

Okay I just wanted to pop in and say thanks for the links I too, am tired of the "uniboob" look. Being a 36D (was a 42DD) it's still rather a pain to workout without being distracted about trying to keep those puppies put.

I should get my new addition next week so will let you know how it turns out.

I was a 44DD - had reduction surgery and now a 38b and a very small b. My stomach sticks out further than my breasts now. I am very unhappy with the results. The surgery was for medical reasons and no choice on size actually.

Thumbs up Taming the wild puppies

Titania28,

I just ordered an Enell sportsbra (in purple, no less!) and am looking forward to getting it. I'm sick of my 42DDD boobs flying all about while I'm trying to exercise! It's wonderful to find a sportsbra that will actually fit.

And to be able to order a size 5! Whatta hoot! I know it's Enell's size 5 but I can't remember ever buying a single digit size.

Thanks for steering me and my achin' pups in the right direction!

Have you tried the Lady Grace website? They've got a great variety and almost any size you could imagine! You might find you order a lot of other stuff from them too since they've actually got pretty bras for large chested women. I've ordered online from them twice now and I can't complain.
