Default Hey Trainer Dan...

Well Good Morning,

I have viewed a few of your posts and it seems that you are an excellent resource for so many individuals on this forum.

So, I was hoping you good give me some advice.

A little background. I will be 30 in about six weeks and want to loose about 15-18 pounds. I am currently 147 and want to get back to 130 and a solid size 6!

I am having a lot of trouble making up my mind as what program to follow for the quickest results. Low carb is hard for me as my husband and I go out to dinner often and I rarely can stick to low carb with bread right in front of me. I have a Bow Flex at home, which I have not used in over two years.

I did loose about 27 lbs when I was 27 in about 8 weeks by using the Bow Flex and doing Cardio 4-5x per week. I had my Starbucks Carmel Macchiato every morning and had plenty of low fat carbs during the day; apples, fat free carmel dip, wow Doritos and salsa, McDonald’s yogurt parfaits for lunch or a 6" turkey sub from subway. Usually for dinner I would make a Boboli pizza with chicken or something of that nature.

My doctor tells me my metabolism may have changed since two years ago and I may have to reduce my carb intake to loose that weight again. Is that true? If I start using the Bow Flex again and doing cardio won't I have the same results as two years ago, or do I really have to reduce carbs?

What do you think? I just want to slim down and the faster the better.

Nikki
