Default adding excercise

Well

today I started adding more excercise to my plan. My muscles all hurt but I know I needed to do this. I want to help my body along all I can and I think I am doing all I can as for as the eating goes. I am going to take my measurements today and then once a week and see if I notice a bigger difference when I add more excercise, before I was only walking.

Default what I am adding

Yeah, I am going to add aerobics and some hand weights. I also have an abdominizer (that I bought off tv) to work my stomach muscles. That is the area that needs it the most. It is also the area that is aching from my session today, lol.

Thanks

what a lovely picture!! thanks for sharing it with us. Exercise will certainly tone U up...Im jealous I want one of those abominizers. lol Thats my worst part too...tummy. I have been doing aerobics and toning stretches since the end of April 4-5 times a week and I really notice that I have developed a lot of lean body mass....just too cool...lol

Default thanks guys

Hi all

thanks for the responses. I got my abdominizer off tv, but I have seen the same one now at Walgreens for $19.99. The ydo work. They work your muscles in the tummy area ...you can feel it after only a few minutes. My sister has had one for about a year and her stomach is extremely tiny now and really flat!!! It makes me sick to see it. lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A great investment!!!!!!!!!

Now I just have to suck up the pain and do it every day, I know I can it just is going to take some getting use to and a few days of waking up sore.

Default I just started exercising too...

I've been working out in the morning. I love to use exercise taps...I look ridiculous, but I love 'em. I promised myself someday I would join a workout class (they're my first fav). One tape is called the "Bathing Suit Workout"....lol. The woman teaching it is like 85 and doesn't even break a sweat, while I'm struggling to get thru the first round. I tell you, it's great modivation - seeing how old of shape I am. My boyfriend swares it looks easy (I've been complaining b/c my thighs and butt are killing me), but he won't try it...he's a scaredy, not like us Good Luck to all of you.

I have noticed my scale has not changed (gone down) since I started a week ago...but I'm not worrying about...my muscles are looking and feeling better so whatever

Erin

No what I have is like a hand held thing with wheels, you get on your knees and roll it out onto the floor, it kills, lol. I know what your talking about though.I saw those too, i am not sure if they work, but I would consider getting one. I am at the point where I will try anything.

Default about that muscle-toner w/ impulses...

I've seen those comercials too. I'm not sure if I'd buy one b/c they look scary...lol, but I would be curious to know if anyone has tried them and what kind of results they found....

Let me know if anyone hears anything about them or has buys one,
E

Ok, just a thought here, wouldn't they hurt your back trying to roll up and down?

Default the back ?

HI

I probably didn't explain it very well. You get on your knees and the wheel (thats what I call it) is controlled by both hands. You extend it out across the floor as far as you can making sure to squeeze your stomach muscles and then you roll the wheel back toward your body. I am sure lots of you have seen the commercials for it. It looks easier than it is. But then all the excercise equipment usualy is right?

Yes I have seen it, and truly wondered would it kill ones back? I have lower back problems and although this wheel looks interesting I wondered if it would put strain on the back?
