You got it!

Here is the problem I have with it. It is relatively lowish carb so maaaaybe it is okay.... it has no fat so if I pretend it might be okay then it takes a lot to get satisfaction. IOW, it is evil.

From Dannon's site:
Quote:
Dannon Oikos Triple Zero – Be Unstoppably You! Unlike some other protein snacks, it has 0 fat, 0 added sugar*, and 0 artificial sweeteners – plus 15g of protein per 5.3 oz.

As noted in the ingredients, it's sweetened with stevia, which meets the triple zero requirement for 0 added sugar, as well as 0 artificial sweeteners.

It sounds and tastes good but (maybe due to the type of fiber?) caused gas.

That might be a sign you have trouble with the lactose; a natural milk sugar.

This is what makes plain yogurt sweet enough for me. I add berries.

Chicory fiber is inulin, very fermentable, so there is a fair chance it's the fiber. Similar to the fiber in onions or artichokes.

It's the fermentable chicory root fiber. I don't have lactose intolerance. No problem with other yogurts/dairy lactose, but fermentable fibers do cause the rumbles as all those little buggers in the lower GI get their feast. Not that it's a bad thing, keeping the gut microbiome fed and healthy, but not something I want the results of out in potentially awkward social situations.

It has 32 grams of sugar per cup. That is not something that I would eat.

It says 20g of carbs with 10g of that only being fiber.
