Butternut squash is about 10g carbs per 100g of raw squash, ie weigh before cooking.
I check out http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/
whenever I want to get a carb count I'm not sure of. As it is a US site you can deduct the fibre content from the carbs.
We luuurve butternut squash! In fact I am making a beef, beetroot and butternut squash casserole for tonight. As I am adding carrot and onion to the pot it will end up being quite carby. I think of root veggie carbs as 'good carbs' and good for a Sunday indulgence ;-)
