Default abdominals?

Ok, this is not really a low carb question, but I was hoping for some advice. I'm eight weeks postpartum (had a healthy baby boy!) and did maintenence level low carb throughout entire pregnancy. I am now only four pounds heavier than I was when I got pregnant. What I was wondering is how long on average does it take for the stretched skin and muscles to get back closer to their original shape? I am exercising by walking daily and doing abdominal exercises--can anybody with some previous children tell me what to expect? thanks

depending on your age it doesnt always go back to normal. My girlfriends swear by that Palmer's belly lotion. Have you tried that. Its only been eight weeks, give the belly some time, it can still be swelling.
