Cool low carb info anyone?

Hi all! I am needing some links to some really good low carb web pages.....

My parents are wanting info on this WOE, and their eye sight is poor enough that reading the books aren't an option for them. So I am thinking about creating them a notebook with pages printed off the web, and enlarged for them so they can read and learn. I figured I'd come to the pro's and see why everyone here had to offer.

Thank you in advanced!!!

This is actually my favorite low carb website, so no help there, although you should definitely pick some things out of the media thread.

But what I wanted to point out is that ANDR is available in a large print format. That might be a simple solution. I found it at Amazon, so I'm sure you can have it ordered locally.

Would it be possible to use a computer program that enlarges text? Right now, you may have a magnifier built into your OS that'll do the trick (start-programs-accessories-magnifier) but there are other products on the market (like ZoomText) that can make computer print quite large. If you decide to research the topic, there are resources for low vision folks in your state; a phone conversation with one of these agencies might give you some practical ideas. This would give your folks direct access to current information and a variety of websites. Anyway, best wishes for your family!

Go to google.com and put in your search criteria if the above doesn't work correctly. I put in low carb forums. I don't use any other low carb forum, well, not to talk on anyway. I have purloined a few recipes. I did that on google too. recipe low carb is what I put in.

I understand what you mean about not wanting to put your money in it. I've purchased Atkins at least three times and protein power a couple because they were "interested". Now my mom's doing Jenny Craig. She's losing weight, but her blood tests are getting worse. Next thing you know, she'll be on meds...

You can only control yourself..
