Hi, I think the best advice I can offer is to read through the different plans (see Plans at the top of this page) and see what you think will work for you and your lifestyle.

Let me know what you pick and stay active here on the forums...it really seems to help!

One helpful podcast, Dishing Up Nutrition, is radio show from MN, with a staff of Nutritionist/RDs who advise a LC, real foods, grain-free diet in general. They have had more than one show on PCOS, a recent one was PCOS and Nutrition: http://www.weightandwellness.com/ra...u-need-to-know/
Good tips how to tailor your LC diet and nutritional needs.

Atkins has worked great for me, but I I think the best plan for anyone is the plan they feel they can stick to best . I really think the most important thing for me--and I would imagine for just about anyone with PCOS or insulin resistance--has been coming off of sugar altogether. I truly believe my sugar addiction over the years has been my main obstacle to weight loss in the various plans I've tried. Once I started to make a little progress, that little white demon always kicked in with the cravings and ruined everything.
