Hello, everyone!
I just started eating low carb high fat. My reasons are more than weight loss, my mother is pre-diabetic and has heart disease and I don't want to go there. I eat way to much processed sugar, I get loads of cravings for carbs. I gained all my extra weight during my pregnancies...my youngest is one. I have about 40+ pounds to loose, although I would be satisfied losing a little less. I lost 30 pounds (did not reach goal weight) after my previous pregnancy by intermittent fasting and two moderate to high intensity fitness classes a week. I ate whatever I wanted, including lots of sugar. This time I am trying low carb, hopefully some sort of fasting, and walking as frequently as I can. I really need the support, so I am grateful for this forum.
