Is it just the chips a hoy that are a problem? Maybe your hubby can buy your kids a different type of cookie that won't be a problem for you?

Congratulations on a clean 7 days, especially as a super bowl party was one of them! I only have two things to add to what has already been said:
1. The stuff that calls to you with it's siren song is POISON. It wants to harm you. Don't let it. It is not a "treat".
2. If you keep showing your husband that you are serious and that you CAN forego the temptations he provides, he might start helping you. I found that when most people realized I was serious they gave up offering me carbage and leaving it around where I could see it. For those that continue to do it, I get tremendous satisfaction in leaving their carbage untouched right in front of them. It's very empowering when you don't cave.

I find it helped me immensely to say "poison" to myself whenever I saw wheat or gluten things. It sinks into a subconscious level.

It doesn't hurt to visualize something disgusting at the same time.

I realize that I have no control. I cannot have any "bad" food in the house or they will be eaten by me.

That said, there is no reason to ever eat bad for you food. The whole idea of having junk occasionally boggles my mind. The food is bad for you so why eat any, ever?

Instead I'll give you a few links for homemade LC cookies you may want to try depending on what phase you are on or how badly you really want chocolate chip cookies.

Edit: Remember they are only low carb if you limit how many you eat.

What a great post! That is the way to deal with it!!

Do the kids HAVE to have chips ahoy? Or is there another treat THEY would like that you would NOT? One thing I try to do is provide my kids/hubby with a little bit of the snack food they like, but I choose stuff that doesn't tempt me. Even better if you can make homemade cookies that are healthier for the kids - for instance, I might make oatmeal raisin since I don't like them.
