...and Fujiya, high Shelbourne near Cedar Hill X Road. Best source for the plain Shirataki/Konnyaku.
The Fairways headquarters store at Quadra near Hillside has both the Tofu Shirataki and the plain (in the "knots" and just loose, spaghetti size).
Used to find them in Chinatown, but haven't lately.
Have never seen them in Thrifty's at Colwood Corners (Western Communities). Steph, the Fairfield store has them by the Ramen (dry) and Udon (dry) noodles? On a shelf? I know they are shelf stable, but most stores have them in the refrigerated section, by stuff like KimChee and WonTon Wrappers (because there's liquid in the package)...odd.
What part of town are you in, Leanna? Maybe we can help with your shopping some more...
