Question How much water are you drinking?

I was just wondering how much water everyone drinks. Some days it feels as if I have to force myself to drink water. I love it & it's the only thing I drink (besides coffee once in a blue moon). I'm drinking about 60-80oz per day & I'm wondering if this is enough. I think I'm supposed to be drinking 100oz for my weight (203). Could this be keeping me from dropping some weight?

How much do you all drink?

Thanks in advance!

~Amy

I drink about 110 oz a day. I'm very used to it. I've been drinking a lot of water all my life. I drink as much as my body tells me to lol.. so that's the usual amount I drink, even before I went on any sort of diet.

Most people will tell you to drink at the very least 64 oz, but aim for 100.

well over 120 oz. I go with a 24 oz bottle and keep refilling it - 1 before I leave in the am, one during my commute (I better NEVER get in a traffic jam!) then refill so 1 before lunch, 1 with lunch then one before I get home, 1 with dinner , 1 before bed.

I don't drink enough. But I drink more than I did before this WOL, so ... *shrug*

I drink bottled water, 16.9 ounce bottles, at least two a day and I try for more.

Put me down for
a minimum of 120oz (rarely that low) Usually between 150-170oz/day. Some days when I'm extra active probably 200+oz

I drink about 120 oz. per day, and yes, sometimes it does feel as if I'm really trying to do it. That usually happens when I'm extremely busy.

I'll be interested to discover in the colder months how I do on the water drinking, as I'm not usually very good at drinking liquids except for a part of a glass at meal times.

We'll see!

Wow I must definately not be drinking enough water myself. I drink between 60 - 80 oz/day

My schedule is rough. Even when I keep the 24oz bottle with me, It takes me a good part of the morning to drink it. Refill at lunch finish by the end of the day at work. Maybe 2-3 more glasses of water at home with dinner and at bed.

I think I would need an intravenous drip to get 200 oz a day!

*sigh* I'll try harder... :-(

I somehow manage to choke down at least 70-90 oz a day. That is after I spike it with some lemon juice!

I drink around 400-500oz a day.

I have a large hospital mug (64oz) I use at home, constantly sipping. When I go on walks I fill up my water bottle (1.5 L). I also use that one at the gym. I also bought one of those camel backpackes for school. It holds 64oz, but makes the water taste kind of nasty.

i normally drink 165-198 ozs (5-6 liters) a day. i have water with me all the time. i drink both tap water and bottled water. i have been LC'ing over 3yrs now and it just comes naturally and i find i am actually thirsty if i go too long without a drink. i have 1 or 2 cups of decaf in the morning and the rest of the day it is just water and i was one who used to drink about 100 oz (3 liters) of diet coke a day!! i didn't like water at all when i started LC, didn't even take my meds with water, then i started off by taking my meds and vits with tap water and started replacing the coke with unflavoured carbonated water and then after about a year i switched from carbonated water to bottled plain water and increased my intake and now as i say i drink water all day and of course feel it is so much better for me.
