Default How to love your Hot Flashes / Flushes

I'm not sure if this post should go here, or in health...

I had a couple of weeks where I was eating higher carb (50 - 90g, which included wine) as an experiment, and although I didn;t make the connection at the time, I had fewer hot flashes. I also stopped losing weight, even gained a pound. (So the experiment was successful in that I learned I need to keep closer to 30g and probably no wine in order to keep losing).

Anyway, 6 days back on <30g/no alcohol...I have lost weight but I also am having more hot flashes.

I read on one of the old threads that as fat is lost, the estrogen stored in the fat is released -- so the increased hot flashes could be a sign of weight loss and fat loss.

So now, every time it happens, I think of the fat melting and being released for me to excrete (pee, poop, exhale and sweat) out of my system!

Now I want more hot flashes!!!

Anyone else notice this or read about the link between actively losing fat and increasing hot flashes?
