Hey there, i am new to this site and so glad i found it. The support and thoughtfulness is just outstanding. I am 26 pounds away from my goal weight. I am currently 153.2 and wanting to get to 127. I am five foot five inches and want to look good in my clothes again. I started Atkins on Sunday and already feel so inspired and actually have lost a pound. Now all i have to do is stop cooking like Emeril and put the beer down. I will get there!

Welcome! I was 24 pounds from my goal weight when I started (2.5 months ago) and now I only have half of that to lose ... So trust me, the weight is going to come off ... This really works! Good luck to you!
Thank you Lexy Lou and Kisal. I appreciate it. Do either of you take any weight loss pills or supplements? I take a Vitamin B Complex & a pre-natal (not pregnant) but that is about it. Anything else i should be taking?
2B125, I take a multi-vitamin but that's it. I would avoid weight loss drugs. Lots of water is important, and you'll need to figure out a way to get some fiber into your diet. I used to take Metamucil on occasion, but now I eat a LC whole wheat tortilla when needed (11 carbs, 8 grams of fiber).
Lexy-lou- good to know- I will definately stay away from the weight loss drugs- they seem to be a little unsafe-i drink about 96 oz a day if not more. I have lost another pound in the last day and a half so i am super excited.
