Default Well, hey there! I'm back - 2nd time around!

Hey everyone! My DH and I were low carbing starting back in June 2006 - I lost about 12 lbs. and I think DH lost about 20 lbs. After about 8 months or so, we not wisely stopped low carbing and got into a habit of eating JUNK and drinking plenty of beer on the weekends. I know you'll be so surprised to know we gained our weight back - me all of it plus 2 lbs. and DH all of it plus about 10 lbs. It could have been worse, but we were still eating fairly low carb during the week still, so fortunately we didn't blow up too much!

Well, we are both back at it and happy to do so. We both read the TNT Diet book - GREAT book and so well written. We highly recommend it. It helped inspire us to get back to low carbing and stick with it for life!

I've been going through major low carb flu (I'm on day 7), in fact I ate some carby food yesterday to try and alleviate the "flu" and it did seem to help - I'm feeling somewhat better today. I was back on low carb today, though, since I didn't want to compromise my progress too much. Anyway, I'm hoping to keep feeling better here in the next few days and can't wait to get some energy back! DH went through the "flu" and low energy as well, but he's feeling better each day.

Ok, that's it so far. I tell ya, it's really great to be back and to know that we are going to see progress soon and feel so much better!
