Hi all you turtles out there, come join me here and post and let us know how you are doing with your weight loss.
I am one to lose my weight slow and sometimes I get really discouraged with it to but I know I must keep going on in order to lose the weight I need to.

So lets all support each other here and just have a good and fun time ok.

I'll join!

I jumped the gun and haven't read the sticky yet...but now that I'm past the first few weeks, I know that I can expect a weight-loss rate of about 1 pound per month (2 if I'm lucky). If it isn't turtle-rate...it's still frustrating, and I could use support.

Ipioch, I lose weight slow to usually a pound or two each month and sometimes none. But lately I have been working extra hard and cutting my carbs down to around 25 aday so hopely I will have lost more this next month. I am limited to what exercise I can do anymore due to health problems so I am not active enough to burn up many calories anymore.
But as long as the pounds come off I am not going to complain about them being slow. Over time they will all add up to a big loss.

It nice having you join me here to, post often ok and keep me up on how you are doing.

No problem. It's good to have buddies.
I was pleasantly surprised this morning at another pound lost. However, with the stomach bug going through the house (I have been spared personally), I'm probably not eating as much due to the fact that I'm thoroughly disgusted at the moment anyway.
:-)

See you around the forums!

I am the Queen Turtle, I can't lose for nothing, up 4 down 3 up 4 down 2 , it is a roller coaster I hate, so I win
I wish I knew way this is what it is.
I do have Diabetes, but 37 yrs,a nd I was a tiny little thing when I was Diagnosed at 15. I lost a Adrenal Gland to a tumor, so both of these make it a struggle, I guess..
But here I am Debbie

I feel you Debbie!! I hear if you stick with it, eventually it will pay off. ARe you working out too? That's something I need to work on...I find EVERY excuse to not get on the treadmill at home (I even had my boyfriend move the treadmill in the living room!! LOL)

I also decided I need to drink more water...hopefully these two combos will point me in the right direction.

HisMouse,
Just out of curiosity, how do you FEEL on low carb compared to pre-LC? I know I'm too attached to the scale, but when I get upset about it, I ask myself how have I been FEELING and it makes it all worthwhile.

I'm not losing pounds, but it seems like every day I find more hanging skin, or paper-thin skin where I guess my body sucked the fat out from under it. Strange situation.

How slow a loss to be a turtle? I have over 100 lbs to lose and I stall after about 3-5 lb losses every time. Does that count? I sure feel like its coming off slow compared to others results...
