Default 7 day workout challenge!

I've tried this before on my own and it works pretty well. The idea is to commit to 7 days of working out, whatever that means to you. For me, these days, it's the elliptical, and I just did 14 minutes. I challenge myself (and whoever else wants to do it) to work out every day on the elliptical, for at least 10 minutes, between now and next sunday!

Rock on! You're a walker? Do you have a treadmill or walk outside in the lovely Florida weather? I'll be in tampa on 3/6, maybe i can do outdoor exercising that week. Here we've got several inches of snow

Why did I want to do this??? Oh yeah , accountability OKAY, Well I did it.I am sweating right now,but I logged on before and remembered I committed to this thread. So I did a quick mile even thou I fought the urge to call it a night.IT'S DONE !!!! Off the big list of guilt.....lol

I just moved to Fla in July and LOVE the weather. The hotter the better !!! I like to walk outside to look at everyone's gardens, but I do own a treadmill, which just moved into the livingroom from the garage...lol I will be hopping on that soon too !!! But my favorite time to walk is early like 6am early morns...before the kids wake up and beg to come I had my 4 yr old and 7 yr old doing a slight jog to keep up with me tonight.

Okay,so I completed 1/7 not bad !!! See ya tommorow !!!

Well, I just got home from work and I'm ready to get on the old elliptical. I did 14 minutes yesterday and felt really good about it. As long as I do 10 or more per day, I'll call it even, but I'd like to shoot for 15. I'll post back and let you know...

Hi again,

You're really helping me with my motivation, Stacy. I'll be on the elliptical come 4:00 and I'm shooting for over 15 minutes today. You're doing awesome with the walking - and congratulations on breaking out the treadmill. These things *are* good for something besides hanging our clothes!

How long have you been doing lowcarb? I just hit 3 weeks and my weight is fluctuating like crazy although my pants are definitely looser.

Good Morning Chris, I am glad we are helping each other with motivation.
I started this time LOL.... Mid dec 2005. I follow a very loose Atkins plan.I am happy with what I am doing.I am losing slowly, but my outta control binges with junk food is GONE.My clothes fit better and I just physically and mentally feel better when I watch my carbs.I am pretty sure most days I eat 20 or less carbs.I am going to start the real induction soon.
Well, I am going to down my coffee and get my walk in before the sun starts heating up.BTW I live 30 minutes from Tampa and we are averaging temps in the 80s you should definately be able to enjoy some outside walks.

Stacy

I'll post back when day 5 is done!!!! Are you up to another 7 days when we are done ?
