Default Hi!

Hi, everyone! I'm back on low carb after now about six years or so, in order to lose weight and get rid of my chronic migraines. I was low carb for years previously and was quite happy with it. I had one Xmas abroad where literally there was nothing to eat but chocolate candy and it screwed everything up... But I'm back with a vengeance and will not go back after suffering from these headaches constantly. I'm pretty sick of feeling like crap about my body too. I will be happy to make new friends and learn more!

Welcome back,

DietDoctor.com has had a number of success stories about migraine, but the doctor who writes about it frequently and has sections in both his books is Dr. William Davis. Here's one article from his Wheat Belly blog: http://www.wheatbellyblog.com/2015/...from-migraines/ Search both sites for more tips. His list of foods to avoid that have hidden wheat is extensive, but especially to start consider eliminating all wheat, grains and possibly dairy too as he mentions.

Also, here's an article from LowCarbDietitian found on another thread: http://www.lowcarbdietitian.com/blo...ines-and-nausea

You have found a great forum to help with info on the keto diet and support. All the best,
