Default Starting the New Year the LC way

Hey everyone,

I've decided to go back and give LC another shot. I did it last yr and lost about 20lbs, but I went off track while on Vacation and never really found my way back (however, the 20 lbs did ). After a few weeks of keeping a food journal, I've discovered how out of control my "bad" carb intake really is. I've done WW in the past and was very successfull with it before I had my daughter. However, I haven't had much success the past few times. I think I just would use my points in the wrong way (the bad carbs!)

So...Here I am, ready to give it my all this time around. I'm sick to death of living in Fl. and wearing pants in the summer for the past 3 yrs. This yr- I'm going to wear my shorts no matter what it takes! I'm ready to distch the crap, once and for all.

Mattia!!! Where have you been missy?

I realize I forgot to add that my goal is to lose about 60 lbs. I'm hoping to accomplish this by the end of July., or atleast be well on my way!
I really feel pretty excited about this, I haven't felt that about an eating plan in a while.

Alicia,
I've been using fitday at fitday.com to record what I eat. It is a little tedious and maybe a little obsessive to record each day, but it really clarifies how much I'm eating. After about a week of using it, I could see where I needed multivitamins, where the sneaky carbs were and also how my exercise level relates to my consumption. You might want to try using it.
I wish you a happy new year and a welcome to this forum, it is really helping me keep my eating habits in focus. Debbie

Can you tell me how to get the little ticker thing hooked to my posts? I see that you have one. I thought you couldn't add one until you had 25 posts...but you haven't got 25 posts. How does that work?

Deb- I don't have one up yet, but if you go to www.tickerfactory.com you can creat one, then add it to your sig line.

I think I'll go make one now too!
