Default Road Trip

I am going to Key West in April for a week for a wedding and a mini vacation with my fiance. Any thoughts on what to bring along for the 20 hr. drive. I have traveled before on the Atkins and ate beef jerky the whole time, I am looking for any other suggestions. It would be greatly appreciated! Hope everyone has a carb free weekend!

Take a small cooler and put some string cheese, pepperoni, sugar free jello cups, thin sliced meats and low carb tortilla wraps (mayo and mustard, too).

When I hit the road I like to bring; homemade beef jerky, cheese slices, canadian bacon by Freshetta (comes in a pkg. like pepp.), hard boiled eggs, almonds, sf jello cups, maybe a few low carb bars for when you want something sweet. Be careful not to overdue it.

For alcoholic treats; I like light vodka with sparkling flavored water.

Have fun on your trip, I love the Keys.

Thank you for the suggestions! I guess it is all about being prepared and well aware of the temptations along the way and not to give yourself any excuse to give in.

You could also bring a package of LC tortillas with you in case you stop at a burger joint and want to wrap a burger. Also, Subway has LC chicken wraps that are pretty darn good if you do decide to stop somewhere to eat.
