Talking All good things!

Hello ALL!

Am sooooo excited to have found this forum. I did Atkins years ago, early '90s with great success. I've since then have lived, had a LOT of life and have tried various things. The most recent was the HCG diet--tremendous results in a very short span of time. I did both the injections and the sublingual pellets. LOVED it, loss inches like mad--was bonafide SEXY (60+) weight loss. Still a big girl, but the curves had RE-introduced themselves to the world. HCG--great program, CANNOT do it forever! You get a little hungry, had to interact with others in social settings, very limited. The first week or so of feeling hungry--let's just say when I'm truly hungry . . .my dog gets nervous. Something is going on the GRILL!

Since HCG I've put back on 24 lbs. Mostly belly, its where I tend to hold, although my weight is well distributed. Still, I worked hard, sacrificed, managed to keep it off for a little under a year, however, I am peri-menopausal, 30 year marriage ended in divorce(married young) and my old habit of taking care of the world before self . . . .

So, like the prodigal son, I am returning home. The number on the scale makes me want to lock myself in a room--but I'm too fabulous for that! Instead, suck ing it up, taking responsibility and seeking a wee bit of support.

What say you? Can I come home?
