I am glad to see that a doctor like that would have the forethought to put you on LC. So many doctors are all about drugs when so much of the problems of health (not all) can be taken care of in a positive way through diet.

Thanks all. Yes Dr M is an innovator. He did point out that the LC method does not work for everyone. That's why I think some people quit. It doesn't work for them. I've heard the stories about body shape - apple versus pear - and it seems to hold true broadly. But being a retired scientist I need more concrete facts. I recently picked up a book titled Syndrome X which describes the situation pretty well. While the LC lifestyle doesn't work for everyone, the bookpoints out that a small percentage of syndrome x'ers are aware of it. So many many more people could benefit from the program. Gongrats to all of you who have recognized it.
