I'm totally unfit and 80 pounds overweight (did not really exercise for the last 5 years except walking), and since the last 6 weeks I've been doing Atkins induction (cheating a bit once every 7 days), and I manage to do 15km of rollerrblading 2 times a week, and one 20-25 km bike ride.

At first I did 30 mins, then 40, then 50, then 60, and last time I did 1h20. Thus, only 5 times rollerblading and I'm up to 1h20 (2 times a week). I suspect a few more times and I'll do 2 hrs no problem. Thing is I may have to go a bit slower at first.

So I think you'll be ok (unless you're situation is worse than mine (5 years of inactivity and 80 pounds over)

Good luck

I am sticking close to induction levels of carb intake and riding my bicycle. I have a goal of a half century as a regular ride (I can do 25-30 on the flat now) but if I go beyond that or add in some serious hills, I crash and my legs turn to lead.
I have added some salted nuts to the pouch in my camelback as well as some of these bars which have 205 calories, (105 from fat), 9 net carbs, and 14 grams of protein.
I also found little squeeze tubes of applesauce at WalMart These are 50 calories, 9.3 grams of carbs (all from sugar)
Do you guys think these products are OK, or should I look for something else?
BTW I'm down over 35 Lbs on my way to 82.
