Default 30 min chocolate treat

I had a chocolate craving today and concocted this creation so that I could stay on track with cutting sugars.

I didn't take measurements (i typically dont when cooking) but I used about 2/3tbsp coconut oil and 1tbsp butter; 1/4 cup ground almonds and sweetened to taste (your mileage may vary).

Melt the coconut oil and butter (or ghee) slowly in a double boiler or saucepan. Add ground almond (or whatever nut you like) until the mixture thickens. Add stevia (or Splenda or Xylitol) and cocoa powder. You could add chopped nuts if you wanted.

That's it!G

Pour into a flat dish with sides (like Tupperware) and pop into the freezer for 1/2 hour. Because there is no soy, stabilizers etc, it WILL melt at room temperature if you leave it out.

just to warn you, I can't go overboard on these treats,

I haven't had any for a couple of weeks and I'm starting to see better results. whereas when I had these every few days the scale didn't budge for me.

YMMV
