Lightbulb Another way to track your weight loss

We all love to track our progress. In my case I use the measure tape, the scale and that old jeans As discouraging as it could be to see my ups and downs daily, I like to weight myself all days in the morning and I used to register an “oficial” day to track my progress.
Yesterday, I decided to make it different and I looked for the AVERAGE of the weights of the week, and I'm glad I did it because the results were different and confirm me that I'm doing it! I'm loosing very slowly but it is happening!
Here are my records,

Weights by the “oficial” day ------- Weighs by the AVERAGE of the weights of --------------------------------------------------------------the week

W10 151.5 - ---- 151.1
W11 151 - ---- 152
W12 151.5 ---- 151
W13 151-------151.1
W14 151.5 - ---- 150.7
W15 151 ----- 150.14
W16 150 ----- 150.3
W17 150.5 - ---- 149.5
I know, I´m a turtle! , but regardless of that, I found that the average of the week shows me a more realistic view of what is happening with my body weight, The AVERAGE weight shows my downs first than the oficial day that could remain the same for weeks! and for me it makes a whole difference in motivation!
Hope that helps to some of you!
Cheers,
Isiar

That is one reason I like fitday. It has a little graph that shows my weight loss over time. I can feel like I'm completely stalled, or worse the scale goes up. I'll check that though for the past week or month and relize that while I'm not moving fast, there is improvement over where I was a month ago (Even though I swear I had been stuck for a good 2 months ) When in a stall time seems to drag out unrealisticly. Kind of like doctor waiting rooms, pregnancy test waiting, and of course listening to wonderful conversations about the newest fad diet your friend has found ;p
