Default Ready for Change

Hi. I am new to the forums, but have done LC previously (& successfully). I began Protein Power over 10 years ago after I injured my back at work & subsequently gained a fair amount of weight. I loved Protein Power, because of the understandable science behind it, but did not stay with the plan. I also tried Atkins successfully, but neither time in the past did I have this much weight to lose. I do understand I should not be "trying" these plans, as they are not a diet, but a way of eating.

I will be posting a journal, so if anyone wants to take a peek & offer any words of wisdom, I would be most grateful!! I have had a lot of life changes which I have used as an excuse not to take better care of myself, but I am hoping this forum & support from my husband will allow me to stop using that crutch.

Thanks!

Welcome snowgirl - I'll try to stop by your journal in a minute. I had to laugh at the Heathers reference, Vavcon. My hubby was leaving for work to which he loves to say "I gotta motor" and I rounded it out with the "Great pate, Mom, but I've gotta motor if I'm gonna make that funeral" LOL
