Default Dr. Rhonda Patrick & Dr. Elissa Epel podcast...

Dr. Rhonda Patrick's latest instagram post of an upcoming podcast with Dr. Elissa Epel. She also co-authored The Telomere Effect: The New Science of Living Younger with Nobel Prize winner Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn. Looked it up on goodreads and just borrowed the kindle from the library.

Had a great conversation with Dr. Elissa Epel yesterday! I have referenced her research for many years, but this was our first time meeting. We talked a lot about her research into the effects of stress, obesity, food addiction on the aging process as well as transgenerational effects passed onto offspring (this part is especially super interesting... bottom line, take care of yourself — men and women — leading up to having kids!) Lots of good conversation on telomere biology, which is a special area of expertise of hers. Give her a follow on Twitter at ~dr_epel and also check out the book she co-authored with Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn called The Telomere Effect.

Can’t wait to get this podcast out after the one with Dr. Matt Walker also coming up. Subscribe to my iTunes and YouTube channel to make sure you get the notification.

Thank you so much for the conversation, Dr. Epel!
